Albertville is a "little big town" of 18.000 inhabitants built on an ancient Roman city and recently greatly improved due to the 1992 Olympic Games of Albertville. Our town mixes old and modern buildings and offers a variety of facilities such as the Olympic Hall for concerts and skating, the Dome Mediatheque, the Dome Theater and Cinema, sport centers…

The CCEF is located 5 minutes by foot away from the very center of the town and all commodities are reachable within 15 min walking. By the way, walking is the best way to discover the region.

There is public transportation (bus) reaching to the main destinations in town.

Nevertheless, a bike can be very useful to move around and a wide network of bicycle paths exists throughout the region.

A car is however necessary to go anywhere out of the city. Car rental is available. Browse "Albertville car rental" on the internet.

The train station (10 minutes by foot) allows you to go almost everywhere in France or abroad and, during Winter, a High Speed Train (TGV) makes the connection with Paris in 4 hours.

There are also buses (some of them free) that can take you to ski resorts or towns in the area. Please visit the website of the city of Albertville for more info on how to come.
