DOCTRINE

The Scriptures are divinely inspired and are entirely trustworthy. They are the sole and supreme authority in matters of faith and conduct.

The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are one God in three distinct persons, who are co-eternal and perfectly equal in power and glory.

Since man’s fall, human nature has been completely sinful and is thereby liable to the punishment of God.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. By his death on the cross, he suffered this punishment in our place. His atoning death is the sole means of salvation, by which God grants us eternal life and deliverance from the power of sin.

Jesus Christ rose bodily from the grave and ascended to heaven’s glory in the presence of his disciples. He will return in the same manner to execute the judgment of God and to establish his reign.

The work of the Holy Spirit is necessary to grant believers repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. By his presence, the Spirit accomplishes God’s purpose in the believer.

The universal Church is composed of all believers and constitutes the body of Christ.
